The GPX case - Recommendations for Vietnam

At the end of December 2011, the US Court of Appeals issued a decision in the "GPX Int’l Tire Corp.. v." case, United States affirmed that the US Department of Commerce (DOC) imposed countervailing duties on goods imported from non-market economies in contravention of US law. While the lawsuit concerns Chinese exporters, this US Court decision may be a case that has a significant influence on the rights and interests of Vietnamese producers and exporters in cases. The anti-subsidy lawsuit they have been or will face in this market.
