Second Meeting of CPTPP Commission in Aukland, New Zealand
23/06/2020 103Senior Officials and delegations representing 11 countries in the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) met in Auckland, New Zealand, 7-9 October, 2019 for the second meeting of the CPTPP Commission and associated CPTPP Committees.
At this meeting, the Commission discussed and approved the Joint Statement on the outcome of the meeting and two formal decisions, (i) Decision on CPTPP Commission’s Rules of Procedure under Article 27.4 and (ii) Decision to establish a Roster of Panel Chairs as provided under Article 28.11 Chapter 28 – Dispute Settlement to promote the effective operation of the Council and the Dispute settlement mechanism of the Agreement.
The next CPTPP Commission and associated meetings will take place in Mexico in 2020.
