Vietnam has just finished negotiating a Free Trade Agreement with the EU (EVFTA) at the end of 2015. Together with the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) Agreement, the EVFTA is expected to create big impacts on institutions and policies of Vietnam in the coming time, including the Customs and Transparency.
Customs and Transparency are among the sectors that the EU is very concerned and insists Vietnam on specific commitments in the EVFTA. Therefore, in implementing these commitments, Vietnam is expected to have to modify and adjust its related domestic laws and regulations.
With the support of the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and North Ireland in Vietnam, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) has conducted a research on Reviewing Vietnamese laws and regulations against EVFTA commitments on Customs and Transparency.
