Vietnam - EU Free Trade Agreement Negotiation

The Free Trade Agreement between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU – including the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Armenia, and the Kyrgyz Republic) was signed on May 29th, 2015. This FTA is now under the domestic ratification process of the Parties and has not come into effect yet. This is the very first FTA of the EAEU and is expected to create preferences for Vietnamese enterprises when exporting to EAEU countries.


Africa launches world's largest FTA to boost trade amid rising global protectionism

An agreement to launch the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) was signed here Wednesday, thus creating the largest free trade area on the world's poorest inhabited continent.
