With the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) an important factor in attracting EU investors, it is not the only reason why financiers are interested in the nation, according to Nicolas Audier, chairman of the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham), speaking during a recent media interview.

The EU-Vietnam Business Council (EVBC) was jointly launched on October 22 by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the EU Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam in Hanoi, in light of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) taking effect in August.

Exporters are taking advantage of incentives from the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA). However, there remain many issues to be addressed to boost sustainable exports to the EU.
