UK-Vietnam FTA: Opportunities for UK businesses

The UK-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (UKVFTA) temporarily took effect from 23:00 on December 31, 2020 (GMT) as 06:00 on January 1, 2021 (in Vietnam) and officially took effect from May 1, 2021. This agreement is negotiated on the principle of inheriting the commitments of EVFTA Agreement with necessary adjustments to ensure conformity with the bilateral trade framework between Vietnam and the UK
