Belarus, Russia to keep working together towards Belarus' WTO accession
05/06/2017 67Belarus and Russia will continue working together towards Belarus' early accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO), reads the joint statement signed by Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei and Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lavrov in Moscow on 5 June, BelTA has learned.
“The Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation confirm their commitment to working together towards Belarus' early accession to the World Trade Organization,” the document reads.
The sides have also emphasized their commitment to handling the whole range of matters of the integration within the Belarus-Russia Union State and the cooperation to promote Belarus' and Russia's sustainable development and strengthen their standing in the international arena.
