Circular No. 03/2020/TT-BCT on importing unmanufactured tobacco according to tariff quotas under CPTPP

On January 22, 2020, the Ministry of Industry and Trade promulgated Circular No. 03/2020/TT-BCT regulating the import of unmanufactured tobacco (HS 24.01) according to the tariff quotas committed in the CPTPP Agreement.
Applicable entities are:
1) enterprises importing unmanufactured tobacco according to the tariff quotas committed in the CPTPP Agreement;
2) organizations and individuals concerned with the import of unmanufactured tobacco according to the tariff quotas committed in the CPTPP Agreement.
The quota of unmanufactured tobacco for each year is implemented as committed in the CPTPP Agreement. Specifically, in 2020 is 525 tons; 2021 is 550 tons; 2022 is 575 tons, etc.
This Circular takes effect on February 29, 2020.
