The Sixth Intersessional Meeting of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Trade Negotiating Committee (TNC) and related meetings were held in Jakarta from 19-25 August 2019. The TNC met alongside meetings of the Working Groups on Trade in Goods and its sub-Working Groups, and Working Groups on Services, Investment and Electronic Commerce.

The TNC met for two days with longer expert-level discussions on a range of chapters requiring additional time to allow for completion this year. Progress was achieved across text and market access negotiations.

Ministers next meet at the 7th Ministerial Meeting in Bangkok on 8 September 2019 prior to the final and full RCEP negotiating round in Da Nang, Vietnam from 19-27 September 2019.
