On November 15, the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework for Prosperity (IPEF) Ministerial Competition was held on the sidelines of the APEC leaders summit in San Francisco, United States.

After the meeting, the US Department of Commerce announced that it had completed three of the four pillars of negotiations, including pillars including supply chains, clean energy cooperation to fight corruption and tax evasion. IPEF member countries have agreed on the terms of the clean energy pillar, which aims to strengthen cooperation on decarbonization efforts and on an anti-corruption chapter, which also aims to limit tax evasion and help Countries build stronger institutions and laws.
