China to partially suspend additional tariffs on US goods
07/11/2025 506China will temporarily suspend additional tariffs on some imported goods from the US from 13:01 on November 10 according to the results of bilateral economic consultations.
According to a notice from the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council ( Government ) of China, the suspension was carried out based on Notice No. 2 of 2025, which stipulates additional tariffs on goods originating from the US.
In addition, China also announced that it would adjust some additional tariff measures, which will take effect at the same time. According to the Customs Tariff Commission, the 24% additional tariff on some imported goods from the US will be suspended for one year, while the 10% additional tariff will remain.
The China Customs Tariff Commission said the decisions were made to implement the results achieved in recent US-China economic and trade negotiations, and were “in accordance with tariff laws and basic principles of international law.”
