Vietnamese fruit exporters seek trade opportunities in Guangxi
03/06/2026 5Vietnamese fruit exporters are set to explore new business opportunities in China through a trade and investment mission in Nanning City of China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region from June 17 to 20.
According to the Trade Promotion Agency under Viet Nam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade, the programme will be held alongside the event “ASEAN Fruits Gather in Guangxi,” in coordination with relevant Vietnamese and Chinese authorities.
Around 15-20 representatives from Vietnamese agencies and businesses in the fruit sector and related fields are expected to join the working delegation.
The Trade Promotion Agency said the initiative aims to support Vietnamese companies in promoting their brands and introducing high-quality fruit products to importers, distributors, retailers, and e-commerce platforms in China.
Through a series of business-matching activities, participating enterprises will also gain deeper insights into consumer demand, technical standards, distribution systems and the broader business environment in China, particularly in Guangxi.
In addition to expanding export opportunities, the programme is expected to help Vietnamese businesses seek investment partners and strengthen cooperation networks with enterprises from ASEAN countries participating in the event.
China remains one of Viet Nam’s largest agricultural export markets, with fresh fruit continuing to play an increasingly important role in bilateral trade.
