The Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) has officially notified the Viet Nam Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei (Taiwan, China) regarding the results of its latest review and approval of the list of Vietnamese seafood enterprises eligible to export to the Taiwanese market.

Following a comprehensive review and cross-check of information provided by Vietnamese authorities, the TFDA has finalized its inspection process and agreed to adjust the authorized list.

With these latest adjustments, effective from June 10, 2026, the total number of Vietnamese seafood enterprises recognized by the TFDA as eligible to export to Taiwan stands at 778.

The TFDA’s periodic review, update, and publication of this list are part of a broader effort to ensure food safety, quality control, and traceability for seafood products imported into Taiwan (China). This process serves as a vital foundation for Vietnamese businesses to maintain stable export operations while enhancing their ability to access and expand their market share in the territory

According to the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade, seafood consumption demand in Taiwan (China) remains high. As of 2025, Viet Nam has become the fourth-largest seafood supplier to the Taiwanese market. Import demand is forecasted to continue growing in the near future, creating significant room for Vietnamese enterprises to further increase their market presence.
