German tape manufacturer Tesa plans to build a EUR55 million (US$65 million) factory in Northern Vietnam in an effort to expand its production as from 2023, according to Germany’s Handelsblatt newspaper.

The Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Chinese Ministry of Commerce jointly held the 9th Meeting of the Vietnam-China Working Group on Economic and Trade Cooperation via an online form for the first time on August 13.

Although the export of agro-forestry-fishery products in the first seven months of the year decreased by 2.8% compared to the same period last year, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development affirmed that if we make the best efforts and there are no major changes in the global situation, the total export value this year will reach over US$40 billion.
