Ukraine’s government announced that it had amended the list of goods subject to export licensing, including coking coal not being used for power generation.
In early September, Ukraine banned coking coal exports to ensure great preparation for the heating season. Also, the government wanted to avoid the situation of abuses and manipulations of coal applied in thermal generation during the heating season.
