Prime minister affirmed that Vietnam always considers Belarus a friend and reliable partner and wishes to strengthen cooperation with Belarus, promote delegation exchanges at all levels and through channels to cooperate in all fields.

According to the special correspondent of VNA, on the afternoon of October 24 (local time), on the occasion of attending the expanded BRICS Leaders' Conference in Kazan city, Russian Federation, Prime Minister... Goverment Pham Minh Chinh met with President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksander Lukashenko.

At the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that Vietnam always attaches importance to the traditional friendship and cooperation with Belarus, which has been nurtured by the leaders and people of the two countries over the past 30 years.

Vietnam always considers Belarus a friend and trusted partner and wishes to strengthen cooperation with Belarus, including promoting delegation exchanges at all levels and through channels to create a foundation for promoting cooperation in all fields.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the two economies can complement each other, proposed promoting the exploitation of the potential for economic and trade cooperation between the two countries; agreed that it is necessary to review and continue to strengthen the legal basis to meet current cooperation needs.

President of Belarus sends congratulations President Luong Cuong and wished to invite senior Vietnamese leaders to visit Belarus soon; expressed his impression of the achievements that Vietnam has made in socio-economic development, ensuring people's lives, and the increasingly consolidated prestige and position of Vietnam.

President Aleksander Lukashenko agreed with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's comments and affirmed that, based on the traditional trustful relationship, Belarus always values and wishes to develop cooperation in all fields with Vietnam.
