Vietnam supports Japan’s participation in TPP
18/03/2013 71Vietnam believes the participation of Japan, one of the big economies and having an important role in the Asia-Pacific region and the world, will contribute to increasing cooperation potential and the attractiveness of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), as well as intensifying multi-level and mutually beneficial cooperation among countries in the region.
So said Foreign Ministry Spokesman Luong Thanh Nghi on March 15 in reply to a question on Vietnam’s viewpoint of Japan’s official participation in the negotiation process.
This will also create a new cooperation framework for and further deepen the relationship between Vietnam and Japan, which is seeing good development, said Nghi, adding that Vietnam supported Japan’s participation at an early date.
