FAS accepting Viet Nam trade mission applications
17/07/2026 16Feed, feed ingredients and ethanol are among the agricultural products the Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) of the US Department of Agriculture sees as opportunities for US agribusinesses in Viet Nam.
The FAS is accepting applications through July 27 for its Agribusiness Trade Mission to Viet Nam, which will be in Ho Chi Minh City from Nov. 9-12.
The FAS said the mission will directly connect US exporters with potential buyers from both Viet Nam and Cambodia during site visits and targeted business-to-business meetings. FAS staff also will host networking events and in-depth market briefings.
Viet Nam is the seventh-largest export market for US agriculture — valued at $5.6 billion in 2025 — making the United States the second-largest supplier of agricultural goods to the Southeast Asian nation of more than 100 million people.
Combined with rising incomes and a rapidly growing gross domestic product, the FAS said Viet Nam offers US agribusinesses tremendous export potential due to its booming food processing, hospitality, and retail sectors.
