Study of Vietnam's Retail Sector Risk in the Context of TPP and FTA Integration - Status and Policy Proposals

The study "Risks of Vietnam's Retail Sector in the Context of TPP Integration and FTA - Current Status and Policy Proposals" is conducted to assess the current status of problems, hinder the development of Vietnam's retail industry, especially in the context of TPP, EVFTA integration and Free Trade Agreements, then propose specific policies to support and promote the retail sector to develop sustainably, thereby contributing to the development of manufacturing industries as well as increasing benefits for consumers.
The study was carried out by WTO and International Trade Center of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in collaboration with Association of Vietnam Retailers (AVR) in the framework of the Project "Strengthening the role of business associations. Vietnamese enterprises in consultations to develop industry development policies "funded by the Australian Embassy, managed by the Asian Foundation.
