Germany is the third-largest economy in the world and the largest in Europe. It is also a global leader in several sectors, including chemicals, mechanical engineering, and high technology. With a population of over 80 million and a high standard of living, Germany is one of the most dynamic consumer markets in the world. This presents substantial opportunities for cooperation across various sectors such as industrial manufacturing, high-tech industries, financial services, and the trade of consumer goods, agricultural products, and beverages.
To support Vietnamese enterprises in gaining a solid understanding of the German market and key considerations when conducting business there, the Vietnam Trade Office in Germany has conducted a study and compiled a manual titled Handbook "Q&A About Key Considerations For Doing Business In German Market".
The Handbook addresses frequently asked questions covering aspects such as market characteristics, consumer behavior, import regulations and policies, as well as other relevant rules that may affect the production and supply chains of Vietnamese businesses.
