Implementation plan of the UKVFTA by the Government, ministries, branches and localities

On May 18, 2021, the Prime Minister signed and promulgated Decision No. 721/QD-TTg approving the Implementation Plan of the Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (UKVFTA).

This action plan clearly defines objectives, key tasks and relevant ministries and sectors in the implementation with a specific roadmap. In which, the main tasks include 4 main groups: propaganda and information dissemination about the UKVFTA Agreement and the UK market; the work of building laws and institutions; improve competitiveness and develop human resources; and policies on social security, environmental protection and sustainable development.

The Government, ministries, branches and localities have promulgated a plan to implement the UKVFTA Agreement in order to effectively implement this Agreement, take advantage of the opportunities the Agreement brings as well as solve the challenges posed. The Center for WTO and Integration would like to introduce the following plans.
