Within the framework of the IPEF Ministerial Conference held in June 2024, 14 IPEF partners officially signed the Agreement on IPEF, the IPEF Clean Economy Agreement (Pillar III) and the IPEF Fair Economy Agreement (Pillar IV).

The Agreement on the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework for Prosperity (the Agreement on IPEF) is a formalized and durable structure for ongoing economic cooperation in the future among IPEF partners.

According to this Agreement, the countries agreed to establish an IPEF Council and Joint Commission. The IPEF Council would consider matters affecting the collective operation of the agreements related to the four IPEF pillars, as well as considering the possibility of adding new members or new agreements when necessary.
