Guangdong is known as China's "Great Southern Door", adjacent to Hong Kong and Macau, and is China's most important trade hub for the world so far, especially in Southeast Asia since China's reform and opening up. In 2021, Guangdong is the first province of China with a gross domestic product (GRDP) exceeding 12 trillion yuan; the total import and export turnover exceeded 8000 billion yuan continuously ranked first in China for more than 30 years. In the last 5 years, the total actual used FDI capital has exceeded 780 billion yuan, there are many large corporations and companies in the world that appreciate and choose to invest in Guangdong with billions of dollars of capital such as Mobile, Basf, etc. In 2021, the total actual used investment capital of Guangdong reached US$184 billion, up 13.6% over the same period, the total number of new investment projects was 16155, an increase of 25.6% over the same period.
