The Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy of South Korea announced on July 23 that the 19th round of negotiations for the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) takes place from July 24 to 28 in Hyderabad, India.

On May 2-12, the 18th round of RCEP negotiations was held in Manila, Philippines.

The 17th Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Trade Negotiating Committee (TNC) meeting and related meetings were held from 21 February to 3 March 2017 in Kobe, Japan.

The 16th Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Trade Negotiating Committee (TNC) meeting and related meetings were held from 2 to 10 December 2016 in Tangerang, Indonesia.

The 15th meeting of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Trade Negotiating Committee and Related Meetings was held from 17 to 21 October 2016 in Tianjin, China, with goods negotiations commencing on 13 October.

The 14th meeting of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Trade Negotiating Committee (TNC) and Related Meetings was held from 15 to 19 August 2016 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

New Zealand hosted the 13th round of RCEP negotiations, which included meetings of all working groups and sub-working groups.

Australia hosted over 670 delegates at the 12th round of RCEP negotiations from 17-29 April in Perth, Western Australia.

Senior officials from 16 Asian countries, including India and China, will hold wide ranging deliberations on issues, such as duty cuts in goods, as part of proposed mega trade deal RCEP during a five-day meeting at Brunei starting from February 15.

Korea hosted the 10th round of RCEP negotiations. Officials commenced market access negotiations on goods, services and investment.
